Ghost of Yotei is almost here, but Sucker Punch Productions already has more planned for fans. At Gamescom ONL 2025, the studio confirmed that Ghost of Yotei Legends will launch in 2026 as free DLC, much like Ghost of Tsushima’s own Legends mode.

This expanded co-op experience brings back the mix of two-player story missions and four-player survival matches. Players will step into one of four classes and face off against monstrous, demonic versions of the Yōtei Six, along with entirely new enemy types. Concept art shared in the PlayStation Blog post offers a first look at the terrifying foes ahead.
The main game arrives on 2 October 2025 for PS5 and PS5 Pro, but Legends won’t be playable at Gamescom this week. That means the wait begins now.

Even so, fans of Ghost of Tsushima know how beloved Legends became after release. Its return cements Ghost of Yotei as more than just a follow-up, but a worthy successor in every way.
