With anticipation high for the Polygon Treehouse-developed Röki, United Label Games is delighted to announce it will be part of digital consumer event The Game Festival, with a Röki demo available for 48 hours from 6 pm GMT/10 am PT on Steam’s dedicated page.

The Game Festival initiative is the brainchild of The Game Awards founder, Geoff Keighley, which has been introduced to bring digital gaming to fans around the world during tonight’s awards ceremony. Along with Röki, the roster of games includes 13 titles which will be streamed for free across more than 60 global digital networks.

Denis Ferrier, head of business development at United Label Games commented:

The reception to the hands-on demo of Röki at gamescom, EGX London and Berlin, and IndieCade this year has shown there’s a great appetite for the game, and The Game Festival means that even more gamers will get the chance to play this enchanting game. The festival puts Röki on the global stage and we’re excited to hear people’s feedback once they’ve had chance to immerse themselves in the captivating Scandinavian world.

Watch the Lullaby Teaser Trailer for Röki below:

Looking first to the ancient Scandinavian wilderness and its bewitching folklore creatures, Röki is a modern narrative adventure game with an alluring art style, atmospheric exploration and satisfying puzzles. It’s developed by the talented team at Polygon Treehouse, cofounded by ex-Guerrilla Games art directors looking to make their mark with a unique, more personal story.

To illustrate this, Polygon Treehouse has released two dev diaries, allowing fans to take a deeper dive into the lore and setting of Röki and as an exploration of the characters within the game. You can catch both of the dev diaries just below. If you can’t see them yet, just keep scrolling. You’ll reach them very soon.
