Forza Motorsport and Horizon 5 keep rolling with exciting updates despite Turn 10 shake-up

Turn 10 may have been hit by another round of cuts, but Forza fans can breathe easy as the racing action isn’t stopping.

Last month, reports claimed the Microsoft-owned developer had been shifted into a support role for the Forza franchise. That sparked fears over the future of Motorsport and Horizon 5.

Forza support confirmed despite rumours

Now, we have an official answer. Posting on X, the Motorsport account confirmed both Turn 10 and Playground Games will keep supporting the two titles with updates and fixes.

Horizon 5 was never in too much doubt. The open world racer remains hugely popular, even after four years. It recently launched on PlayStation 5, topping charts there too. A Forza Horizon 6 feels inevitable – and rumour says it might be closer than expected.

On the other hand, Motorsport is a trickier call. Still, the 2023 entry just got a boost. The Track Toys Tour has returned permanently, bringing the 2019 Porsche #70 Porsche Motorsport 935 as a reward.

It’s the second Featured Tour to be reactivated, with more coming monthly. The Ringer Tour arrives on 4 September, and this schedule will continue until all Tours are back.
