Forza Horizon 6 release date may have leaked ahead of Xbox Developer Direct

An alleged screenshot has sparked fresh talk around Forza Horizon 6, just days before Xbox’s next Developer Direct. The image, shared online, appears to reveal a release date for the upcoming racing title, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

The screenshot was posted early Wednesday by Xbox Infinite and looks like an in-game advert for the Premium Edition. It claims Premium owners can start playing on May 15, thanks to four days of early access. If accurate, that would put the full launch on May 19, landing on a Tuesday.

What the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition could include

Alongside the date, the image also lists what comes with the Premium Edition. Players would get the VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, and the Time Attack Car Pack. An Italian Passion Car Pack is also mentioned, though it is said to arrive after launch. On top of that, two Premium Expansions are planned for release later on. Pre-orders are reportedly rewarded with a pre-tuned, exclusive Ferrari J50.

Forza Horizon 6 was officially announced last September during Tokyo Game Show. The series heads to Japan for the first time, which is a big moment for long-time fans. Playground Games is also promising more than 550 cars and what it describes as the biggest open world the franchise has seen so far.

Forza Horizon 6 - leaked screenshot

As always, Xbox and Playground Games have not confirmed the leak, so it should be taken with caution. A proper gameplay reveal is expected during the Xbox Developer Direct on January 22, where clearer details should finally arrive.
