FIFA Heroes looks chaotic in the best way and early access is already open

If you were expecting another serious football sim, this isn’t it. FIFA Heroes early access has gone live, and the game is clearly doing its own thing with a mix of legends, chaos, and straight-up fantasy.

The game is being developed by Delphi for Netflix Games, and it comes not long after the last FIFA project was announced. This one, though, feels like a complete shift in direction.

Matches are 5-a-side, fast, and a bit all over the place. There are loose rules, strange physics, and players can use special abilities. It’s less about careful build-up and more about quick moments and unexpected plays.

The trailer gives a good idea of what to expect. You’ve got real players like Maradona, Jack Grealish, and Harry Kane, but they’re sharing the pitch with characters like Zeus and Thor.

It’s a weird mix, but it works. The whole thing feels closer to an arcade sports game than anything aiming for realism.

One small detail people noticed is a Motorola phone showing the game, which could mean it’s built for mobile. That hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it would make sense given the style.

If you’re curious, FIFA Heroes early access sign-ups are already open through the official site.
