EXODUS returns with new details, screenshots, and store pages across all platforms

After months of silence, EXODUS is back in the spotlight. Archetype Entertainment, the studio led by former BioWare veterans, has dropped a new Founders Q&A video revealing fresh gameplay details, screenshots, and confirmation that the game is now up for wishlisting on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox.

A deeper look into EXODUS

In the Q&A, Chad Robertson and Chris King explained that Mass Effect was a major influence, not just for its story depth and choice-driven design, but also for how player decisions carry across sequels. They also credited Horizon for its elemental combat and Metroid Prime for its exploration and atmosphere.

EXODUS - Mysterious Force

Weapons are built around a “Swiss Army knife” concept. Take the Recycler, it’s both a gun and a salvage tool, using scavenged materials as ammo. Stealth is also a full option, with players able to sneak, fight, or talk their way through situations.

Expect to face human factions, robotic Celestial Constructs, and later, the mysterious “Rot” – a force that corrupts technology and life itself. Side quests promise to matter, shaping your companions and the protagonist, Jun Aslan, whose journey grows from humble beginnings into something much greater.

EXODUS might make its next big appearance at The Game Awards later this year, and after this update, fans will definitely be watching.
