Red Rover Interactive has unveiled Enginefall, a multiplayer sandbox game that blends high-stakes combat, survival crafting, and long-term progression—all set aboard a massive mega-train. The game is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in early 2026.
Fight for freedom aboard a moving battleground
In Enginefall, you start as a “tailie,” trapped in servitude on an endless train, fighting to rise through the ranks, take control of the engine, and become the conductor. Whether you choose to shoot your way to victory, build alliances, or craft the best gear, every new train is a fresh chance to carve your own path.
The game offers:
- Start Your Revolution – Lead an uprising your way—through brute force, strategic planning, or sheer social manipulation. The train’s AI won’t make it easy, limiting clone respawns, but even if you run out, there are always remnants of past rebellions to scavenge. Need a break? Enter cryo sleep and return when ready.
- Take What’s Yours – Discover rare tech and isotopes, or raid the engine for resources. Use your dagger shuttle—a personal escape pod and attack craft—to secure loot and upgrade from rust bucket to deadly assault vehicle.
- Own an Engine – Claim a train, expand it with new carriages, and create a thriving community—or a dystopian nightmare. But watch out—mismanage your passengers, and they might revolt against you.
- Derail the Opposition – Raid other trains to steal resources and eliminate competitors, but be prepared—there’s always a bigger train looking to do the same to you.
Built with the community in mind
Enginefall has been in playtesting for over a year, with Red Rover Interactive actively shaping the game based on player feedback. The team invites players to sign up for future tests and join the conversation on Discord.
Expect blood, high-stakes battles, and an evolving social sandbox when Enginefall rolls onto Steam in 2026.
