Embark responds as ARC Raiders players question the latest roadmap

ARC Raiders has stayed popular since its release. The co-op shooter even won Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards 2025. Still, not every player feels happy right now. The recent roadmap has raised a few questions.

From what I see, players mainly want stronger reasons to keep logging in. New maps and content are planned, but the details feel light to some fans. That has led to mixed reactions across the community.

ARC Raiders CEO says feedback is being heard

Embark Studios CEO Patrick Söderlund recently spoke about this. He made it clear that the team is listening. He said he would probably feel the same if he did not have the full picture.

At the same time, he explained why full development plans are not shared. Things change during production. Showing everything too early can backfire if delays happen.

He also stressed that updates are in active development. Patch notes will stay detailed. The studio wants to stay open with players. Since early January, the team has been working hard to push more content out.

Söderlund still believes ARC Raiders offers fair value at about £31.50 ($40). For now, the focus is simple: keep improving the game and let future updates speak for themselves.
