It’s official, Echoes of the End is coming August 12. It’ll launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam. Deep Silver and Myrkur Games confirmed the date alongside fresh details.
You play as Ryn, a powerful warrior-mage called a vestige. Her goal is to save her brother from a ruthless empire. But things spiral fast. With the help of Abram, a scholar with a dark past, she uncovers a plot that could start another war.
Fast combat. Big emotion.
Combat mixes swordplay with magic. Ryn becomes stronger as the game progresses. She learns powers like gravity control, illusions, and destruction. Boss fights look intense. Similarly, the movement features dashing, double jumps, and puzzles.
Abram fights beside you. You’ll work together on combat and puzzles. Some areas can only be reached with both characters. The game keeps adding new mechanics as you go.

A world full of history
Echoes of the End is set in Aema, a land shaped by time and war. Landscapes are inspired by Iceland, lava fields, icy mountains, and ancient ruins. It’s gritty, grounded fantasy with a personal story.
Cutscenes use motion capture. Environments are packed with detail. It’s not just about magic, it’s about the people behind it.
Echoes of the End drops on 12 August. If you liked the trailer, this one’s worth keeping an eye on.
