Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion revealed for April 2026

Blizzard has pulled the curtain back on Diablo IV’s next major expansion at The Game Awards 2025. Lord of Hatred will arrive on PC, PS5, and Xbox on April 28, 2026.

This expansion follows Vessel of Hatred and promises to be “the climax of the Age of Hatred.” Players will face Mephisto, who now runs wild across Sanctuary. Expect an ally you can’t fully trust but must work with to survive.

Lord of Hatred adds two new classes, including a Paladin, while the second class remains a mystery. There’s a new region, Skovos, a reworked skill tree, and a new loot filter. Crafting gets an upgrade, a powerful talisman joins the mix, and player-driven war plans shake up how battles unfold.

Blizzard first teased its 2025 roadmap back in April, and this expansion was already on the horizon. Other updates include a ranking system and leaderboards, though more details are still under wraps. Fans can expect more news on Blizzard’s 2026 plans soon.

Lord of Hatred looks set to push Diablo IV into new territory, promising fresh challenges, loot, and strategies for both returning and new players.
