Bungie has revealed a new cinematic trailer for Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. The trailer aired during a developer livestream. The Edge of Fate launches on 15 July.
In this new chapter, players will explore Kepler. It’s a new destination filled with hidden dangers. A powerful threat is rising, older than anything the Guardians have faced before.
Bungie shows new world tiers and Kepler gameplay
The livestream also gave a first look at the World Tier system. The team showed gameplay from Kepler. Players can now face tougher enemies, unlock new powers, and use destination-based abilities.
A new feature called The Portal was also revealed. It helps players jump into activities faster. Rewards, bonus drops, and armour sets are easier to access with this system.
Pre-orders and rewards
Pre-orders for the Year of Prophecy are open now. It includes access to The Edge of Fate on 15 July and Renegades on 2 December.
The Ultimate Edition unlocks bonus items right away. These include:
- Exotic Sniper Rifle – New Land Beyond
- Exclusive Exotic ghost
- Legendary emblem
- Exotic emote
- Dark Side Legends ornament set
The Edge of Fate brings fresh gameplay and big changes. Everything kicks off this July.
