Descenders Next is out now. It launched without warning on Steam and Xbox, and is now available on Xbox Game Pass for PC and console.
RageSquid and No More Robots are back with a new entry in the Descenders series. The original game came out over seven years ago and reached more than 35 million players.
This new game isn’t just about mountain biking. Descenders Next adds snowboarding and mountainboarding too.
More tricks, more sports, more chaos in Descenders Next
The devs say it already has as much content as the first game. It comes with full online multiplayer, big maps, and loads of tricks to pull off.
The world is built differently this time. There are no tracks. Instead, you ride down big, off-piste mountains that are randomly generated. These areas are joined by parks made by the dev team.
If you don’t have Game Pass, you can buy it for £24.99 / $29.99 / €28.99 on Steam and Xbox.
More sports will be added over time. RageSquid says they want to make Descenders Next, the ultimate extreme sports game. They haven’t said what’s coming next.
There’s no launch date for PlayStation or Nintendo. But last year, the devs said a Switch 2 version was likely and that it would come to PlayStation later.
For now, Xbox and PC players can jump in and start riding.
