Sony and Nixxes Software have finally shared the official PC requirements for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. If you were waiting to see whether your rig can handle it, here’s the clear breakdown.
The good news is that the PC version comes with uncapped frame rates, ultrawide monitor support, full DualSense features, and support for major upscalers. The only thing missing is ray tracing. If you were hoping for shiny reflections everywhere, that’s not happening here.
Storage is heavy, though. You will need 150GB of free space. Make room now.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach PC specs and performance targets
Here’s how the requirements scale depending on your target resolution and settings:
| Target | CPU | RAM | GPU | Settings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1080p / 30FPS | Intel Core i3-10100 / Ryzen 3 3100 | 16GB | GTX 1660 / RX 5500 XT | Low |
| 1080p / 60FPS | Intel Core i5-11400 / Ryzen 5 5600 | 16GB | RTX 3060 / RX 6600 | Medium |
| 1440p / 60FPS | Intel Core i7-11700 / Ryzen 7 5700X | 16GB | RTX 3070 / RX 6800 | High |
| 4K / 60FPS | Intel Core i7-11700 / Ryzen 7 5700X | 16GB | RTX 4080 / RX 9070 XT | Ultra |
Interestingly, CPU demands stay reasonable, but GPU power jumps quickly at higher resolutions. 4K players will need serious hardware.
Death Stranding 2: On The Beach launches on PC on March 19th. Time to check your specs before stepping back into Kojima’s world.
