THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have announced the next chapter in the Darksiders saga for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC (Steam). No release date yet, but the teaser trailer has already set the tone; the Four Horsemen are riding together this time.

A return to roots for Gunfire Games
After Chronos: Before the Ashes and the Remnant series, Gunfire Games is back where it all started. Founded by David Adams, the studio is picking up the torch from the original Vigil Games, the creators of the first two Darksiders entries.
Fans have been speculating since last year’s showcase, where a new Darksiders project was teased. Now, it’s official. The Darksiders 4 teaser trailer confirms it.
This was the biggest announcement of the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2025, and it looks like Darksiders is ready to reclaim its throne.
