Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.3 gets revealed today and it’s all about cars

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting another big patch. CD Projekt RED will reveal Patch 2.3 today, 16 July 2025, in a REDstreams livestream. The show starts at 4pm BST. You can watch it on Twitch or YouTube.

Two familiar names will host the stream. Paweł Sasko, associate game director, and Adrien Jouannet, lead designer at Virtuos. Both have worked on the Cyberpunk series before.

We don’t know everything yet. But hints from the official X post point to car-related changes. “We’re driving into Patch 2.3” is the first clue. The devs are called “passengers,” and there’s even a tyre emoji. So yeah, it’s probably something about vehicles. Maybe car upgrades. Maybe better driving.

Cyberpunk 2077 is launching on Apple tomorrow

That’s not the only big thing this week. On 17 July, Cyberpunk 2077 launches on Apple Silicon Macs. Earlier this year, it hit the Nintendo Switch 2. That’s two new platforms in 2025.

The game has already sold over 30 million copies. With more updates and new platforms, that number could rise again.

The full reveal is just hours away. Night City’s streets might feel very different soon.
