Crytek is pleased to announce that free new updates for Crysis Remastered on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 are available now. Following the launch of the classic Ascension level via a previous update for PC, PlayStation & Xbox players can now enjoy this legendary level, where gamers are tasked to pilot an MV-24H Vulture VTOL off an island under intense fire as well as enjoy major performance updates.
Alongside the addition of the Ascension level for PlayStation & Xbox consoles, the update brings a range of frame rate performance improvements across the game’s different graphics settings. The new update also adds classic Nanosuit controls and over 100 bug fixes, including rendering enhancements.
We’re excited to bring this new update to Crysis Remastered as part of our commitment to provide ongoing post-launch support for the game, shaped by player feedback. Adding the Ascension level from the original Crysis to the PC edition of the game was hugely popular with players, and we’re thrilled to bring this experience to PlayStation and Xbox gamers for the very first time as well as an optimized game for next-gen consoles.
