Crimson Desert release date confirmed with cheaper PC specs and huge editions

Crimson Desert is finally coming, and the date is locked in. Pearl Abyss confirmed during Sony’s September State of Play that the open-world action-adventure game launches on 19 March 2026. It’s landing on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, with pre-orders now live.

The Standard Edition is $69.99 (£57), while the Digital Deluxe Edition sits at $79.99 (£65). That bundle packs in-game extras like the Kairos Plate set, Balgran Shield, and the Exclaire riding gear. A physical Deluxe Edition runs $89.99 (£74), adding a SteelBook, Pywel map, developer’s letter, brooch pin, photo cards, and patches.

If you want to go big, the Collector’s Edition at $279.99 (£230) includes everything plus a 17” Diorama and the Ultimate Pack, Tormented Soul Bow, Derictus Spear, Sielos Longsword, Shroud Lantern, and Hyperion Horse Tack Set. All pre-orders unlock the Khaled Shield, while PS5 players get the Grotevant Plate Set as an exclusive bonus.

Pearl Abyss also trimmed back the recommended PC requirements. They’ve dropped from RTX 4070 SUPER levels to something closer to an RTX 2080 or RX 6700 XT, thanks to better optimisation. On Mac, the game runs from M1 minimum up to M4 Pro recommended.

Crimson Desert has been a long time coming. First revealed in 2019, it was once planned as an MMO hybrid before shifting to single player. Now, the finish line is in sight.
