Crimson Desert is almost here, and development has hit a major milestone.
On Wednesday morning, Pearl Abyss confirmed that Crimson Desert has officially gone gold. That means the final build is ready, and the game is now locked in for release. Even better, this news comes nearly two months ahead of its planned launch on March 19.
In a post shared on social media, the studio thanked fans for their support and celebrated the moment with the team. Pearl Abyss also reminded players that their journey will begin in Pywel very soon.
Crimson Desert release locked in for March 19
Going gold is always a big deal. It usually means the game will ship on time, unless something truly unexpected happens. For players who have been waiting years to get their hands on Crimson Desert, this is a reassuring sign.
At launch, the game will be priced at $69.99 (around £55). There’s also a Deluxe Edition available for $79.99 (roughly £63). The Deluxe Edition includes the Kairos Plate Set, the Balgran Shield, and the Exclaire Horse Tack Set, offering some extra flair for early adventurers.
When March rolls around, Crimson Desert will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC.

The wait is almost over, and everything now points to a smooth launch.
