Pearl Abyss has confirmed a collaboration between Crimson Desert and Fortnite, offering players the Kliff outfit based on the action RPG’s protagonist, exclusively through an Epic Games Store purchase incentive rather than the battle royale’s standard Item Shop.

The official Crimson Desert X account confirmed the details: any pre-purchase or purchase of the game on the Epic Games Store from 23rd January 2026 at 11 AM ET qualifies, with the Kliff outfit unlocking in Fortnite from 19th March 2026. Players must have their Epic accounts linked to redeem the reward, and the offer runs until the title leaves the store.

Fortnite modes shutting down after Epic layoffs hits harder than expected
Fortnite has become the go-to destination for gaming crossovers in recent years, with collaborations spanning franchises from across the industry, Super Meat Boy 3D among the most recently teased.
On the development side, Pearl Abyss has confirmed early R&D on a Switch 2 version of the game, though no release window has been committed to. Separately, the studio has transitioned its core Crimson Desert team to DokeV, the company’s next major title, a move that may temper expectations around further post-launch support for the RPG.
The Kliff skin represents one of the more purchase-gated Fortnite collaborations in recent memory.
