Corsair has revealed its newest PC case, the AIR 5400, a mid-tower model that changes how cooling works inside a computer. This latest design uses three separate chambers to keep every major part cool, quiet, and running at its best.
The triple-chamber setup is a major step forward from the older AIR 540. Now, instead of two zones, the case splits the CPU, GPU, and power supply into their own cooling spaces. This helps reduce heat buildup and gives the system a cleaner flow of air.

At the front, the AIR 5400 has a special chamber made for a 360 mm liquid cooler. It pulls in fresh air from outside and quickly pushes out warm air, keeping the CPU cool even during heavy use. Because this section works separately, the graphics card isn’t affected by the CPU’s heat, something that improves overall performance.
Corsair has also focused on airflow balance. The case has two ducts, one on top and one at the bottom, that move air smoothly through the main area. The lower duct includes three pre-installed reverse-rotor RGB fans that send cool air straight to the graphics card, while the top duct adds symmetry and helps air circulate better.
Inside, there’s plenty of room for even the largest GPUs, with up to 430 mm of clearance. The AIR 5400 comes in two options, one with RS120-R ARGB fans and another with iCUE Link LX120-R fans. The iCUE Link version includes a hub that connects up to 24 compatible devices with a single cable, making setups easier and tidier.
The design also focuses on looks and convenience. It features wraparound glass panels that open smoothly on hidden hinges, giving builders a clear view of their system from almost any angle. This makes upgrades and cleaning easier, too.
Cable management is simple thanks to Corsair’s RapidRoute 2.0 system. It includes movable cable anchors that can be adjusted anywhere, helping users keep wires neat. The third chamber behind the motherboard holds the power supply, storage drives, and cables, keeping the front space open and clean.
The case supports new reverse-connector motherboards from ASUS, MSI, and GIGABYTE, helping builders achieve an organised look. Other thoughtful features include nylon cable brushes, quick-turn fan screws, a GPU anti-sag arm, and even a polishing cloth for the glass panels.
On the top, you’ll find three USB-C ports, two with 5 Gb/s speed and one with 10 GB/s, along with a headset jack and a power button.
