Commodore 64 book tribute reaches half of Kickstarter target

You have to admire Sweden, they’ve given a lot of awesome things to the world such as Swedish Meatballs, Abba and who can forget the beast that is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The next great thing to come out of Sweden is unknown, but hopefully, it could be a book from the webmaster of, Andreas Wallström. That’s right, Andreas is a massive fan of all thing Commodore 64 related and as part of his obsession with the console, he is writing a book tribute to the retro console called ‘For the Love of a Machine’.

The book, which is being funded through Kickstarter, will be full of exclusive in-depth interviews, professional photography, pixel art and even music notes from the one and only Rob Hubbard, one of the greatest musical minds of the 80s and 90s.

For the Love of a Machine is currently halfway to its target of 630,000 SKE (Swedish Krona) which is the equivalent to £55,000, and with 18 days left we’re pretty sure it’ll hit it. If you want to grab a copy of this book yourself and help fund the project, you can do so on the link below. But, if you need more convincing, we’ve included the Kickstarter trailer for you as well.
