Commander ’85 is a new project developed by the independent Polish studio The Moonwalls, previously known for Bohemian Killing, an unconventional court thriller released on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game will be published by Ultimate Games S.A.

A free demo of the game is now available on Steam. Commander ’85: Prologue gives the players an opportunity to check out the beginning of the game.

The Moonwalls studio has been working on the game for several years. Commander ’85 is a sci-fi thriller set in the United States in the 1980s, combining elements of adventure, simulation and survival games. The main protagonist is a teenager living in the suburbs of Chicago whose life changes irrevocably when he receives a Commander computer for his birthday. The device is the pinnacle of human civilisation and features a true artificial intelligence system.

Players can count on many interesting and fresh solutions. In terms of gameplay, Commander ’85 is a very diversified project. The game also includes various random elements, side quests and three different endings. The plot deals with, among others, themes such as the arms race, the mysterious Roswell incident, military experiments and AI. All this is perfectly complemented by an atmospheric soundtrack created by Marcin Maślanka.
