Sid Meier’s Civilization is making the jump to virtual and mixed reality! 2K and Firaxis Games have officially revealed Civilization VII VR, coming exclusively to Meta Quest 3 and 3S this spring.
A major step for the franchise
“Today is a milestone for the Civilization series,” said Dennis Shirk, the franchise’s executive producer. “With Civilization VII VR, we’re entering the world of immersive strategy for the first time.”
Meta’s Chris Pruett echoed the excitement, calling the game “further evidence” of the growing strength of mixed reality, especially with the launch of Quest 3S.
