Cinder City MMO shooter confirmed with ray tracing and DLSS 4 support on PC

NCSoft has confirmed that its upcoming MMO tactical shooter, Cinder City will feature ray tracing and DLSS 4 on PC. NVIDIA revealed the news alongside a new trailer, showing off the game’s mix of sci-fi action and post-apocalyptic Seoul.

Previously known as Project LLL, Cinder City puts players in the armour of a futuristic knight. The story follows a desperate search for the protagonist’s missing daughter, set against a backdrop of high-tech ruins and iconic landmarks.

Cinder City brings MMO action with next-gen visuals

The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, making full use of Lumen for lighting and shadows. While NCSoft hasn’t detailed the exact ray tracing effects, reflections and shadows are expected. With DLSS 4 added in, PC players can expect sharper visuals and smoother performance.

Cinder City is set to release in 2026. If the trailer is anything to go by, NCSoft is aiming for a shooter that looks as good as it plays.
