Set in the year 2035, Black Ops 7 picks up after Black Ops II and Black Ops 6, continuing the chaos in a world torn apart by violent conflict and psychological warfare. David Mason returns to lead the Black Ops team into a fresh fight this time against a mysterious enemy who turns fear itself into a weapon.

What to expect in Black Ops 7

This isn’t just another sequel. Black Ops 7 brings a narrative-driven co-op campaign that’s built for both solo play and squad missions. The story leans into near-future tech and mental warfare, promising a dark, intense ride from start to finish.

Multiplayer fans can expect new maps and near-future weapons that lean into the series’ signature fast-paced combat. While exact loadouts and map names are still under wraps, Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be a bold step forward for the franchise’s core PvP experience.

And yes, Zombies mode is back. Round-Based Zombies returns, dragging players deeper into the Dark Aether storyline. Expect more of that gritty, supernatural tension that long-time fans know and love, but with modern gameplay twists.

We’ll get a full gameplay reveal later this summer, but for now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is already looking like a major entry in the franchise, familiar yet fresh, with new mechanics, a darker tone, and a return to fan-favourite arcs. Stay tuned.
