Treyarch knows how to commit to a joke, and this April Fools’ Day, they’ve genuinely outdone themselves.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has added what is almost certainly the smallest map in franchise history as a limited-time April Fools’ treat. The new playlist is called GRWM, short for “Get Ready With Me,” the popular social media video format, and it drops eight players into a cramped walk-in closet for a free-for-all that’s about as chaotic as it sounds.
What is the Black Ops 7 GRWM Map?
The map itself is barely a map at all. Set entirely within a single closet space, there’s almost no cover to speak of, and with all eight players spawning practically on top of one another, expect to die and kill constantly. To win, you’ll need to rack up 67 eliminations, a cheeky nod to the “6-7” brainrot meme that’s been doing the rounds online.
Beyond the laughs, there’s a very real incentive to load up GRWM today. Double XP is currently active across Black Ops 7, and with kills coming so fast and freely on this map, it’s arguably one of the most efficient ways to grind weapon camos and level up your loadouts right now. Players have been sharing clips online, with some reporting absurd kill counts in just a few minutes of play.

Treyarch hasn’t confirmed how long GRWM will be available, but with Black Ops 7 Season 3 launching today, bringing five new maps with it, there’s a good chance the playlist gets pulled with the update. If you’re curious, jump in while you still can.
It’s a silly, self-aware bit of fun that shows Treyarch still has a sense of humour about its own game and right before a major season drop, that’s a pretty good vibe to send off.
