The two-player puzzle adventure game BOKURA: planet will release for PC via Steam on 24 April 2025. This exciting announcement comes from publisher Kodansha and developer Tokoronyori. For those eager to try it out early, a special demo featuring a unique story separate from the main game will be available on 16 January.

BOKURA: planet is a cooperative puzzle-solving adventure designed for two players on different devices. Communication and teamwork are essential to progress through the game’s stages. The new “push” action adds an extra layer of strategy—and perhaps a little mischief—as players can nudge each other, even pushing their partner off cliffs!
The game is set in a unique world where survival and teamwork are key. With added actions and puzzles, players will need to navigate challenges that test both their cooperation and patience.

Story
The earth has been destroyed, forcing the few survivors to rebuild civilisation from scratch. Eventually, humanity reaches the point where space travel is possible. To explore distant planets, death row prisoners are sent on risky missions.
The game’s story follows two crew members whose ship malfunctions, forcing them to crash-land on a mysterious red planet. Both characters have their own reasons for wanting to return to Earth, but will they succeed?
Developer’s vision
Tokoronyori, known for his unique style and imaginative worlds, has been creating one-of-a-kind games for years. His 2016 game Planet of the Lonely gained attention on social media, while BOKURA, released in 2023, sold over 600,000 copies and became a favourite among streamers and VTubers worldwide.
With BOKURA: planet, Tokoronyori explores ideas that didn’t make it into the original BOKURA. According to the creator, this project is a chance to see what might have been.
