Black Ops 7 Monster cans let you grab free rewards and double XP before launch

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 doesn’t have a release date yet. But fans can already claim in-game rewards. Monster Energy cans themed around Black Ops 7 are now out in stores. They come with QR codes that unlock early bonuses.

The game is expected to launch this year as one leak points to 14 November. That would make it the latest release in the series by one day. But nothing is confirmed. Still, Call of Duty sticks to a yearly schedule, so it’s coming soon.

Scan cans. Get rewards in Black Ops 7

Twitter account CharlieIntel spotted the cans first. Scanning the QR code takes you to a page for rewards. The cans don’t list what’s inside. But if it’s like Black Ops 6, expect skins and XP boosts.

Last time, there were six unique items. Each can give an operator or weapon skin. Everyone also unlocked a 15-minute double XP token. After all six players could still earn double XP. But no more skins.

You’ll likely need to upload a receipt. That stops people from scanning cans in-store without buying them. You’ll also need to link your Activision account to redeem.

Back in June, Activision gave away a Black Ops 7 calling card to Warzone and Black Ops 6 players. This Monster collab is the next step.

The full reveal for Black Ops 7 happens on 19 August. Expect the release date and more.

Can spotted? Scan it. Your loadout will thank you.
