Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5 launch on 7 August, bringing new multiplayer maps, a round-based Zombies finale, experimental modes, and a major update to Verdansk Stadium.
Black Ops 6 new multiplayer maps and returning classics
Four maps will be available this season:
- Runway (Launch): Set in a wrecked airport terminal following a high-speed chase.
- Exchange (Launch): A tight, three-lane map inside a lively Avalon marketplace.
- World Motor Dynasty (Launch): A remaster of W.M.D., now reimagined as a luxury car factory.
- Jackpot (Mid-Season): Based on Black Ops 4’s Casino and a BO6 campaign mission, set inside Casino Luttazzi.
New and returning modes include:
- Aim High (Launch): Headshots instantly eliminate; body shots deal reduced damage. Each kill gives a short speed and health boost.
- Snipers Only (In-Season): Only sniper rifles allowed. No equipment or secondaries.
- Cranked Moshpit (In-Season): Get kills to stay alive and keep the bomb timer from running out.
Zombies ends with Reckoning
The Zombies storyline ends in Reckoning, a new round-based map set inside the collapsing Janus Towers. Players team up with Richtofen for one final mission against S.A.M.
Key additions:
- Uber Klaus: A heavily armoured enemy with a second form called Uber Klaus Core.
- Kommando Klaus: Smaller robots that self-destruct on contact.
- Gorgofex Wonder Weapon: A multi-variant bio-organic weapon with fungal and insect traits.
- Mister Peeks Field Upgrade: A lethal bunny that distracts enemies while attacking.
Warzone: Stadium compromised
In Warzone, Verdansk’s Stadium is opened up, revealing a hidden military base connected to the Abyss Protocol.
- Satellite Hijack (Week 1): A limited-time contract that unlocks access to the Stadium.
- Stadium Resurgence (Week 2): A new Resurgence mode with rooftop entry points and a seven-circle collapse.

New free weapons in the Battle Pass:
- PML 5.56 LMG
- ABR A1 Assault Rifle
Extras include:
- 9mm PM Skull Splitter attachment
- Another attachment arriving mid-season
Battle Pass unlocks:

- XP boosts and over 110 items
