EA and Battlefield Studios have locked in the release date for Battlefield 6 Season 1. The first season kicks off on 28 October, just 18 days after the base game launches on 10 October.
Battlefield 6 Season 1 rolls out in three phases, each packed with fresh content. Players can expect new maps, weapons, vehicles, and modes hitting the game every few weeks.
Battlefield 6 roadmap brings steady updates

The action begins with Rogue Ops on 28 October. This update adds the Blackwell Fields map in California’s badlands, the Strikepoint 4v4 tactical mode, and the Traverser Mk 2 buggy. Players also get three new weapons: the SOR-300C carbine, Mini Scout sniper, and GGH-22 sidearm, plus new attachments.
Next up is California Resistance on 18 November. This phase introduces the Eastwood suburban map, the 8v8 Sabotage mode, and two new guns, the DB-12 dual-barrel shotgun and the M327 Trait revolver. Battle Pickups return, too, giving players powerful, limited-use weapons scattered across maps.
The season wraps with Winter Offensive on 9 December. Empire State gets a frozen twist with Ice Lock, a holiday event featuring the Freeze modifier that affects gameplay. Players also unlock the Ice Climbing Axe melee weapon.
All content is playable across multiplayer and the Portal Builder Tool. With Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 dropping on 14 November, the fight for FPS players’ time this winter is about to heat up.
