Battlefield 6 fans have spotted what looks like a flawed AI design in the new Windchill cosmetics bundle. The issue centres on a player card sticker that quickly raised eyebrows across social media.
Battlefield 6 AI claim details
Shared on the Battlefield subreddit, the image shows a soldier inside a snowflake, holding what appears to be an M4A1. The problem is that the rifle looks wrong. Very wrong. It seems to have two barrels stacked on top of each other, along with what looks like double handguards. That kind of mistake is common in generative AI images, but rare in work made by human artists.

The reaction was immediate. Some Battlefield 6 fans brushed it off as a small visual error. Others saw it as a worrying sign of where the industry is heading.

Comments quickly turned sour. One user said the mistake proves a lack of care before release. Another argued that once the money is paid, quality no longer matters. Several fans went further, calling out EA for relying on AI instead of paying real artists, with some accusing AI tools of using stolen artwork.
This isn’t happening in isolation. A fully AI-made game, Codex Mortis, demo recently launched and was widely criticised, adding more fuel to the debate.
For now, Battlefield 6 finds itself caught in the middle of a growing industry-wide argument about AI, creativity, and trust.
