Plaion, Atari, and Bandai Namco have teamed up to launch the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition, a fun and colourful tribute to retro gaming. The new version of the classic console will be released worldwide on 31st October 2025.
This special edition celebrates the long history between Pac-Man and Atari, dating back to when Pac-Man first came to home consoles. It also marks the partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., the original creator of Pac-Man.
The Atari 2600+ Pac-Man Edition comes in bright Pac-Man yellow and has light-up character icons on the front. It includes the Pac-Man Double Feature cartridge and a yellow wireless joystick.

The console will cost £129.99, and pre-orders start on 23rd July at Amazon and Atari.com.
Also available are PAC-MAN CX40+ Wireless Joysticks, sold separately in five colours based on the characters:
- Yellow (Pac-Man)
- Blue (Inky)
- Red (Blinky)
- Pink (Pinky)
- Orange (Clyde)
Each joystick will cost £29.99 and will also be up for pre-order on 23rd July.
The Pac-Man Double Feature cartridge offers two games:
- Pac-Man 7800: a brand-new version with arcade-style gameplay
- Pac-Man 2600: the original version from the Atari 2600
