Microids has announced Asterix & Obelix: Mission Babylon, a new 3D action platformer. It’s coming to PC on October 30th. A teaser trailer is out now.
Asterix and Obelix are back for another wild adventure. This time, they’re heading east to save King Monipehni. He’s been poisoned by Bahmbuhzeli, a shady sorcerer working with Caesar. To cure the king, they’ll need to find rare ingredients.
You’ll fight Romans, meet strange characters, and visit magical places. One of the key locations is Babylon, a brand-new area in the Asterix universe.

Mission Babylon features four unique worlds. Each one has its look, landmarks, and enemies. Combat is fast, silly, and full of over-the-top animations.
There’s full co-op support too. You and a friend can play all 20 levels together. Big boss fights and replayable missions are included.
This one feels close to the classic Konami arcade game. If the hit animations are solid, it could be a great throwback with modern polish.
