Ubisoft has dropped the PC demo for Anno 117: Pax Romana, giving strategy fans a chance to test the waters before launch. The demo focuses on the early game, letting you explore the first two population tiers in both Latium and Albion through Sandbox Mode.

You’ll get to settle on an island, do research, and build everything available within those tiers. NPCs are present, but there’s no war declaration this time. The demo also comes with a smaller set of items for your villa and ships.
Unlike the full release, you won’t be able to tweak the NPCs or difficulty settings. Instead, you’re locked into a preset setup, though you can choose your starting province. Keep in mind, progress doesn’t save here – nothing will carry over to the full game. PvP is also missing, but it will be available in the final version.
