I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.

For those of you looking forward to the release of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands, we have some cracking news. Yesterday Ubisoft announced that players on both console and PC will be able to take part in an open beta that is planned to take place next week from the 23rd to the 27th of February. The best bit, there will be no waiting around for gamers as the open beta will be available to preload from Monday 20th February so you’ll be able to jump straight into the action when it goes live.

In their press release, Ubisoft announced there will be two provinces that can be explored during the open beta, Itacua, a flourishing and mountainous province where the grip of the cartel is looser, ideal to perfect your sniping skills and get introduced to the Wildlands. Montuyoc, set in the snowy Altiplano, and the second province available in this Open Beta, is much more challenging – players who have suppressed the Itacua bosses will gain XP and skills boosts allowing them to face this dangerous area, home to Santa Blanca elite training centers. Players can of course confront Montuyoc right away… at their own risk.”

As an added bonus too, anyone taking part who goes on to buy the full game will get access to the exclusive Unidad Conspiracy mission.

Anyway, if you want more information on the game and the open beta you can find it HERE, but for now, we’ll leave you with the open beta trailer.
