#ScreenshotSaturday favourites

Since it was my birthday yesterday I didn’t get round to looking at what people had been up to on #ScreenshotSaturday until just now. But that doesn’t mean we haven’t found some awesome pieces for you.

The first game we have featured today is Vigil: The Longest Night developed by Glass Heart Studio. In their submission for this week’s #ScreenshotSaturday they show off what the first boss you’ll face in their game which looks pretty terrifying if you ask me. Wouldn’t want one of these trying to chase me down in the middle of the night.

Next up I thought we’d keep with the theme of things you wouldn’t want to chase you down in the middle of the night. This #ScreenshotSaturday submission which looks like some kind of flesh-eating monster comes courtesy of Hazy Game Dev and although is just a WIP, looks pretty sweet. I can’t help but wonder though if that animal at the top is just sleeping or is dead/playing dead, although if it had been attacked by this ghoulish fiend I’d expect more blood looking at its claws.

And the final inclusion this week comes from Pixrift Games and their title Identity Forwarded. This action RPG could be confused for being the love child of GTA and Minecraft, but it does have a twist in that when/if you die, rather than just being respawned, you are reborn as a new character. Your new reincarnation will be chosen based on your actions, karma and interests from previous lives. We can’t wait to see more from this title.

And that is it for us this week. If you think we’ve overlooked a game this week, or maybe you’ve seen something that you think just deserves an honourable mention, feel free to leave a link to it in the comments so ourselves and others can check it out. Until next week FULLSYNCers.
