It’s that time of the week again where we delve deep into the decrepit caverns that house indie developers of the world, in search of hidden treasures. And boy, did we find some gems this week.
First up this week comes Odium: to the core, a challenging single-button, music-based game with a beautiful but dark monochromatic art style, that will be coming to Mobile, PC and Xbox. Isn’t that background just breathtaking?
Our second featured game is
Comic Boy, a side-scrolling runner game for mobile. The comic book art style works really well, just make sure you don’t get caught by that black blob or things won’t end too well for you.
And finally, we’ve some beautiful artwork by the guys at
Yamo Studios for a title they’re currently working on. They’ve added some new volumetric lighting and did a new lighting pass on the level, and we think it looks fantastic. What about you guys?
And that wraps it up for today. We hope you found today’s featured devs/games interesting and don’t forget to come more of the same next week.

About The Author
I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.
