#ScreenshotSaturday favourites

Welcome back to another edition of our #ScreenshotSaturday favourites. The place to come to find out what awesome work is going on in the indie dev world that you may not necessarily be aware of.

First up this week we’ve got a screenshot from the fast-paced infinite runner I Hate Running Backwards, developed by Binx Interactive. In the below image you can see one of the game’s characters, Dumpster Dave, blasting away tiny little monsters with his ultimate attack. Almost looks like a top-down Dragon Ball type game to us. What do you guys think?

Next up there is a video we found from Tsuyoi Raion showing off some awesome behind the scenes work where they have got speech recognition working with a virtual AI companion. We just love to show off some of the behind the scenes work you don’t always get to see.

And finally, who doesn’t love a nice cuddly bear? Well, this next featured game, Just Bearly, is a comedic story game with an interesting art style developed by Daniel J Roberts. The clip below demonstrates a new movement system within the game, which will be available on Steam later this month (click HERE if you want to add it to your wishlist).

And that wraps up today’s edition of our #ScreenshotSaturday favourites. Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed what you’ve seen here today, and you can share it with those of your friends you think will enjoy it too. And then you can all come back next week to check out even more awesome indie games.
