2019 ushered out the decade and saw a big — and crazy busy — year end for Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac. Our mega popular S Saints Divine Cloth Seiya and Poseidon provided an intense, limited-time-only period of play for all the Saints out there. The Poseidon banner teased us all for a few weeks over the Christmas period and, then, after three solid weeks of fighting, the epic PvP tourno Jamir Championship (Season 2) finally drew to its conclusion.
After all that, you might expect things to slow down for a bit for January? Not a bit of it. The Libra Dohko and Aries Shion banners will return this week. While the game’s story enters another exciting new phase (with our main story now updated to Chapter 26). As the Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac narrative moves on apace, we’ve heard word that some really special events will herald… *drum roll* … yes, the beginning of the much-anticipated Hades Chapter.
A clear favourite with Saint Seiya fans, the Fortune Cat Event, was in play last week. If you missed out, we wish you better luck next month! All is not lost though, heroic PvP action returns with Season 3 of Jamir Championship starting next Monday (January 20). Additionally, last month’s critically-acclaimed PvP Melee will also return this month. The last two weekends of January, will see a similar event to the last Melee — but with an all-new theme and some rule changes and gameplay modes that will change things up a bit.
