I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.

Razer one of the leading gaming peripheral companies in the world have today announced a new initiative called Paid to Play. The idea of the scheme, which is cohesion with zVault, the virtual wallet and digital currency ecosystem that Razer launched earlier this year, is to reward gamers for playing games.

All you have to do is is download Razer Cortex, a free software that gives gamers a wide array of PC performance tools, and search tools for game deals. When you use this to launch the games you play, you’ll earn zSilver and you will be able to redeem your reward currency for Razer products, discount vouchers and exclusive swag. In time, they want to branch the rewards programme out even further offering stuff like coffee, movie tickets and more.

Just a few of the games you can play to earn the currency are Paladins, League of Legends, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and OverWatch. So if you play any of them, why not start earning yourself some zSilver by doing what you love.
