If you’re worried that your brand new Nintendo Switch won’t have a game about a naked child running through a cellar of horrors fighting off literal shit monsters and flies with his own tears, Headup Games and Nicalis are teaming up to make sure you have that covered.

The Binding of Isaac has been around for years now in various incarnations and this partnership between the two companies is going to ensure the game sees a complete release in European and Australian territories on Nintendo’s latest glorified time-waster (but Aussie fans may still be at the mercy of their brutal censorship). I seriously can’t recommend the game enough – it’s a roguelike, sure, but that doesn’t quite do it justice. There are so many twisted layers to the Binding of Isaac experience that it transcends genre and becomes so much more than the sum of its parts. Plus it’s great to see the Switch get some slightly more mature games.

Despite the actual release itself getting locked down, the date we can expect it is still incredibly vague – supposedly the second quarter of 2017, meaning April, May, and June – but in the meantime why not get yourself nice and disturbed by watching the live action promo video below all over again?
