I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.

Before you read too far into this, if you don’t like words there is a developer update video at the bottom.

For those of you who aren’t too lazy to read, I’d like to say I could tell you a big secret that the people who skipped to the video won’t know, but I don’t have any. So instead, I’ll just report on the latest update to H1Z1: King of the Kill.

Daybreak, the company behind H1Z1 and a whole host of other popular MMOs, have added a bunch of new content in the latest update and not only that, they’ve improved features such as hit registration as well.

Here’s a list of the main changes you’ll notice:

  • Three new landmarks added to the world map, each designed for a particular style of play
  • Skirmishes are back for special weekend matches that will change each time they appear
  • Better hit registration so no more rage quitting when you swear down you just shot that guy in the head
  • Simplified inventory screen and crafting system to make life that little bit easier

And for those of you who were too lazy to read the above, or if you just want a little more detail, then here’s the developer update video:
