Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today announced new in-game events coming to Mortal Kombat 11 this month. The Be Mine Tower event (13th -17th February) celebrating the day of St Valentine, within the Towers of Time game mode will be available as a free content update for all Mortal Kombat 11 owners.

The event will feature heartfelt modifiers to use on your Valentine, including Mileena’s Teddy Bear, Cupid’s Arrows, Kandy Hearts, Falling Hearts and Roses. Fighters can earn Brutalities and character skins for Kano, Jax and Kitana, along with player module pieces, as part of this in-game event.

Additionally, the eighth season of Kombat League, the seasonal ranked mode in Mortal Kombat 11, will begin on 18th February. All Mortal Kombat 11 owners can participate in the Season of Naknadan Greed as part of a free content update until 17th March.

For more upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 action, players can tune into the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition championship finale, Final Kombat 2020, taking place at Chicago’s historic Park West theatre on 8th March. The top sixteen Mortal Kombat 11 players from around the world will compete in Final Kombat for their share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

The event will feature special appearances by Todd McFarlane (Spawn Creator and McFarlane Toys Creative Director/CEO), Keith David (voice of Spawn in Mortal Kombat 11), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (voice of Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11) and Ed Boon (Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios and Co-Creator of Mortal Kombat), along with an exclusive first look at the Mortal Kombat 11 Official Spawn Gameplay Trailer and other content reveals. The Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack is the best way to upgrade the Mortal Kombat 11 game experience with new downloadable content (DLC), featuring six characters, numerous skin and gear sets and one-week early access for all content.

The next character coming to Mortal Kombat 11 via the Kombat Pack will be Spawn (17th March early access), alongside The Joker (available now), Terminator T-800 (available now), Sindel (available now), Nightwolf (available now) and Shang Tsung (available now). Players can purchase the Kombat Pack as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition or individually. All DLC characters and bonus character skins will be available for individual purchase after the one-week early access period.
