Haunting words. However, we realize you don’t speak Cat English, so we’ve provided a translation.

Spry Fox (Realm of the Mad God, Alphabear, Triple Town) has just released a new gameplay trailer for Steambirds Alliance, the free-to-play, 60-player, super-cooperative, bullet-hell MMO shooter. From April 26 to 28, the team will run the game’s first Closed Beta. Players can sign up for an opportunity to get into the beta at https://steambirds.com, or through giveaways with a number of media outlets, streamers, and YouTube content creators. Beta weekends will continue through May, so players will have a lot of chances to jump in before release.

Fly with up to 60 of your feathered friends in an open world full of cruel cat bosses and endless waves of deadly bullets. Experience hundreds of unique enemies, a wide variety of secret missions, and many distinct plane types for you to unlock and master. Enjoy gameplay that has been carefully built from the ground-up to encourage fun coop experiences and minimize friction between friends and strangers. Team up with your fellow birds to end the reign of Meowza, the evil cat overlord.

Steambirds Alliance is scheduled for release this summer on Windows and Mac OSX, with console releases planned for a later date.
