GameBlast17, the UK’s largest gaming marathon weekend, will see Nomad Games trying to help raise money for the charity, Special Effect, by taking part in a 24-hour gaming session. The charity use technology to help those with disabilities have the opportunity to play games again, rather than having to just watch others enjoy themselves whilst they take a back seat. They hope to raise both money and awareness for the charity by getting people to watch their streams on Twitch and YouTube, and by sponsoring them on the fundraising page which can be found HERE.
As a thank you to everyone who donates a minimum of £1, sponsors will be offered a Shaman character Steam key for Talisman: Digital Edition. But it doesn’t end there, as the developer has also thrown in a Steam key bundle worth over £150 to one lucky sponsor, and if you donate before Friday, you can even get a chance of playing live with the guys from Nomad Games themselves.
The event will be taking place from the 24th – 26th February. So if you’d like to check out the Nomad Games streams, you’ll find the links to their channels below:
And if you’d like to know more about Special Effect and how you can help them, you can visit their site HERE.
