Game News roundup

Sorry for the lack of news this week, we’ve been a little busy. Between running our Sandberg giveaway and Stark practising witchcraft so he can make Alexa Bliss fall in love with him, we’ve been a little strapped for time. We didn’t want people to miss out completely though so we put together this little roundup of some the happenings in the gaming world this week.

Happy birthday VooFoo

Indie game development studio VooFoo reached its 10th birthday earlier this week, and although we don’t know if they had any cake to celebrate, they did share that they’ve had over 5.5m downloads of their games to date. Mark Williams the studios’ Technology Director had a few words to say to mark the occasion:

“For a small indie studio to be celebrating our 10th anniversary and over 5M downloads in such a notoriously unpredictable industry is something we can all be immensely proud of. It’s testament to the hard work, determination and talent of the team and I want to thank everyone who has contributed to all of our achievements over the past 10 years. With our move into publishing, work underway on a new owned IP and exciting plans for Mantis Burn Racing®, the future’s never looked brighter for the studio – here’s to the next 10 years!”
