I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.

We’re back again boys and girls. Hopefully, you’re all enjoying this fine bank holiday weekend but let’s just have a minutes silence for our friends in retail and other industries that mean they’ll be working today and tomorrow,

[Minutes pause]

Thank you for that guys, it is important we take the time to remember those less fortunate than ourselves. Enough time wasting just to bulk out the article now so let’s get stuck into this week’s #ScreenshotSaturday favourites.

First up this week we have Caspian Interactive with their game The Audit; a sci-fi adventure game full of mysteries. The back story for the game is that you’re an auditor sent by the Government to assess a secret mining facility which is testing a new revolutionary energy source that could change the fate of humanity forever, but all is not as it seems. The game will be available on PC and who knows what else further down the line, but here’s a little clip showing the first part of the game where you arrive at the mining facility.

Our second game in this week’s #ScreenshotSaturday feature is another title for PC/Mac, Empathy: Path of Whispers by developer Pixel Night. The game itself has already won an award for ‘Best Game Narrative’ at Casual Connect 2016, so it is clearly going to be something special, but let me just show you the opening description for the game that sets up what it is about, it’ll send chills down your spine:

Blinking against the light, you step into a world that seems broken apart, almost dead… Yet there is a pulse, beating faintly in the back of your mind. What has happened in this place, where the people are gone and their memories echo in the silence? Where emotions appear as physical things, hanging in the air, just waiting for someone to reach out…

An excellent piece of writing, and if the rest of the game story is written by someone with that talent, it’ll no doubt be a massive hit. Their inclusion this week wasn’t just for that though it was for their post about tweaking the in-game atmosphere, why not head over to their Facebook Page and let them know what you think of it?

Usually, this would be the final stop on the FULLSYNC express but I was torn between including this one and the next, so we’re gonna have four this week. Our third developer making it into this week’s feature is Deadleaf Games with their tower defence game Protect Yer Booty, which coincidently is great advice for anyone who is going to prison. This little snippet sent me on a little memory flashback back to the mid-to-late 90s and the amazing game that was MediEvil, I mean just look at that guy’s cute little head below, it’s like when you bite into some food that makes you think “that tastes just like mum used to make”.

And the final feature this week is a game called Plasma Puncher by developer Tomatotrap. In this science-themed game, there is a war that you’re on the verge of losing, and as the last remaining white blood cell, you’re the only hope of defeating this viral army that stands in your way. So, get ready to punch amoebas into oblivion because you’ve got a hell of a lot to get through to destroy the Mother-Microbe.

And there we have it, this week’s #ScreenshotSaturday favourites. Don’t forget to check out the links in the descriptions above to follow the developers and show the Indie community some support. See you all again next week.
