I love games; horrors and puzzle/strategy are my favourite genres but I enjoy playing pretty much anything. I still believe a good story is important and shouldn't play second fiddle to the multiplayer experience unless via a co-op campaign. I also enjoy watching football, supporting the mighty Liverpool, as well as drinking tea and petting my kittens.

The third season of the UK’s largest eSports tournament kicks off on the 14th April 2017.

Professional gamers will battle it out in CS:GO hoping to make it all the way to the finals being held at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London. The finals take place over the weekend of the 23rd to the 25th of June and with a prize pool of $1.5m USD and the title of Esports Championship Series season three winners up for grabs, it is sure to be one hell of an event.

If you fancy grabbing yourself some tickets to see all the action in the flesh, you can do so by heading to wembley.csgoleague.com. Alternatively, if you don’t fancy travelling all that way and would prefer to watch from the comfort of your bed, couch or on your mobile phone whilst ‘working’ the night shift, then worry not. You’ll be able to catch all the live action on www.youtube.com/faceit after YouTube signed a three-year deal for exclusive Esports Championship Series rights.

On the even finals coming to Wembley, Michele Attisani, CBO and co-founder of FACEIT had this to say:

“We’re thrilled to bring the excitement of the ECS Finals back to Wembley in London. After an epic Finals in Southern California in Season Two, we’re looking forward to hosting Europe’s esports fans for the culmination of ECS Season Three.”
