Chocolates and Stella Artois aren’t the only good things to come out of Belgium, they also have Jean Claude van Dam and game developer Larian Studios; the latter of which made an announcement today regarding their game Divinity: Original Sin 2.
The announcement, which stated that there will be a new game mode, was revealed after a stretch goal on their Kickstarter campaign was reached. The Game Master mode is heavily focused on storytelling and gives the players the chance to create their very own customised tabletop RPG campaigns, which they can share with other gamers by uploading them to the Steam workshop.
For anyone who is interested in learning more about the new game mode, the studio has a special live stream to show the new modes full potential, and they’ve only gone and invited Matt Mercer, Game Master of Geek and Sundry’s Critical Role show to take part. The stream, which airs at 11pm GMT, will also feature live streamers Jesse Cox, Dodger, Strippin, and Bikeman as brave and noble adventurers in Mercer’s very own tabletop RPG campaign.
