Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King releases March 28th

Castle Pixel and FDG Entertainment are treating us to a delightfully quirky action-adventure game in the styles of old with Blossom Tales at the end of this month.

The game sees you slashing your way through a bunch of dungeons narrated by a grandfather passing down fables to his grandchildren. It’s taking a lot of inspiration from the more innocent adventure games of the golden age but with some new twists that promise to make it well worth your attention. With so many big flashy triple As releasing at the moment what we all need might be a relaxing little trip down memory lane, and Blossom Tales looks like it could be just that.

Blossom Tales features:

“A vibrant world to get lost in, challenging quests to complete, and memorable characters to meet, our hope is for players to feel as though they’ve been transported back to the glorious days when pixelated visuals and chiptune music captivated us for hours on end”.
